Next year, we will travel to the sacred land of Guatemala. First we gather in Flores, where our journey begins, before traveling together by shuttle into Petén. From there, we enter a week devoted to listening, learning, ceremony, and relationship with the land.
Guided by Florencia Fridman and Tata Walter, we will visit three sacred sites, approaching each not simply as a place to see, but as a place to meet with reverence. Through our time together, we will deepen our relationship with the sacred fire, learn more about the meaning and practice of offerings, and continue exploring what it means to walk with these traditions with humility, reciprocity, and respect.
Our days will invite us beyond learning about ceremony and into the lived practice of relationship: with the elements, with the land, with one another, and with the responsibilities that come with carrying what we have received.
Because this journey builds upon a path already begun, it is intentionally reserved for those who have completed the Cacao Apprenticeship.
