A nine-month Cacao Apprenticeship with Florencia Fridman
Our Journey Begins July 19, 2026
This apprenticeship will guide those wanting to incorporate Cacao and Indigenous wisdom into their practice and share these traditions with others. It is a space to learn, share, and grow on the path toward living life from the heart.
The Objective
This 9-month mentorship experience led by Florencia Fridman and assisted by elders and guides aims to support visionaries and leaders to bring ancient wisdom into the modern world. We honor and bring reverence to the ancient traditions and wisdom holders of thousands of years while also finding our own unique voice to become the leaders that we were born to be.
Cacao is a sacred plant that guides us deeper into our truth, dissolving the blockages that are separating us from our highest potential. Many Indigenous communities all over Mesoamerica have used Cacao as a sacred beverage, connecting us with the divinity that resides within us. We follow in their footsteps.
The Course
During the 9 month journey together we will…
✺ Receive the understanding of Cacao on a physical and energetic level. We will learn about ourselves in the process of learning the plant spirit of Cacao.
✺ Touch upon the history of Cacao, its social impact, and physical benefits.
✺ Explore the traditional way of using Cacao in ritual and ceremony, the preparation process of ceremonial Cacao paste, how to prepare your own sacred Cacao beverage, sacred songs to sing while making the Cacao, and the process of a ceremony (the sequence of how Florencia shares Ceremony).
✺ Deepen our understanding of the Mayan sacred calendar (for personal use only)
✺ This is not a certified course—it is an apprenticeship where Florencia will share all that has been shared with her through oral tradition, ceremonies, experiences with this path, and self-study.
Our Journey Together
Virtual + In Person
01. Deep Immersion Period
We will meet weekly for the first 3 months. These 2-hour long sessions will take place on Sundays.
02. Gathering In Person
July 28-August 1st
5-Day In Person Retreat in the Basque region of Spain
03. Post Immersion
After the Immersion Period, we will meet once a month for the following 6 months
What's Included?
01. Deep Immersion Period
Weekly Virtual Gatherings
We will meet once a week for in-depth discussions featuring a blend of structured and intuitive lessons tailored to the group’s needs, deep dives into specific topics, energetic teachings, guest teachers, and more.
Cacao Virtual Circle Access
During our 9-month journey together, you will have access to the Florecer Virtual Cacao Circles, meeting twice weekly via the Florecer Mighty Networks. This offering is normally $25/month, but is included as part of your experience—a beautiful way to connect with our wider community.
Journey Check-In
A great deal can arise during this period of deep inquiry. While extensive support is provided within our container throughout the nine months, you’ll also have the option to receive discounted one-on-one mentoring with Florencia.
5 Day Retreat in the Basque region of Spain
Gathering in community is an integral part of this experience. The in-person component offers a safe, supportive container to collectively explore what it truly means to hold space for others in ceremonial settings. Expect opportunities for yoga and movement, breathwork practices, guidance on the logistics of serving cacao, community-based play, and personal introspection. Each retreat experience is unique, shaped by the needs of the group.
Lunch + dinner are included in the apprenticeship cost. However, flights, lodging, and transportation to and from the retreat site are your responsibility.

02. Post Immersion
After the initial three months in the immersion portal, we will meet monthly for six months to support your process and provide guidance as needed.
What happens after the journey?
You will have access to our Virtual Cacao Community for 2 months after the end date of our cohort. We will share a follow up email with details on how to join. In addition you will be invited to join our exclusive membership, Apprenticeship Activations, an extended educational space for recent grads to keep the momentum going in community!

Florencia is a self-empowerment artist working with heart opening therapies involving holistic nutrition, ceremonial cacao, yoga, sound and breath as instruments for transformation. She has worked with Indigenous Mayan culture of Guatemala and the Sápara community of Ecuador.

Please fill out the application as thoughtfully and thoroughly as you can. For most, this is our first touch point, so we encourage you to be as open and honest as possible. Perhaps sit with cacao while filling out the application! Upon receiving your form we will be in contact to schedule an interview with you.

Ideally you are present for all the sessions. But we understand that things come up and some will be tuning in from different time zones. If you have to miss, we ask that you only miss a maximum of TWO sessions.

We offer options to pay-in-full as well as a 6-month payment plan. Please note, the total cost of the payment plan will reflect a 10% transaction charge.

Those who have completed this apprenticeship in the past find that the weekly meetings during the immersion period as well as the bi-weekly virtual cacao circles are a great source of support. But if you are in need of extra support, you will have the opportunity to receive discounted one-on-one mentoring with Florencia

Starting on July 19, 2026, we will meet every Sunday for the first 3 months and 1 Sunday per month for the following 6 months. Our meeting time will be 2pm Central European Time.

If you need to cancel, we will issue a 75% refund. The remaining 25% is retained to cover our administrative process.
