June 3-10, 2026: 7-Day Pilgrimage to the Heart of Cacao | Lake Atitlán, Guatemala
A 7-Day Pilgrimage to the Heart of Cacao | Lake Atitlán, Guatemala
June 3-10, 2026
This journey is a very special and sacred return to one of the most life changing places for me and my path. It has taken me many years to guide a group to these lands again and I couldn't be more honored and grateful than to spend it with you.
We are gathering on the shores of Lake Atitlán, a land held by volcanoes, a powerful lake and water with deep ancient memory. This retreat is an invitation to connect with these ways and guide you to a deeper connection to your heart and mission. We will do so through Cacao, the Maya cosmovision, and of the living lineage that continues to guide us today.
Guatemala is where my path with cacao, dreams, and the indigenous ways truly began. It is an honor to return with you to walk these lands together and to open a shared field of listening, learning, and devotion.
Throughout the week, we will be immersed in the medicine of cacao, including a visit to a cacao farm to connect with the plant from seed to cup, honoring its journey and the hands that steward it. We will sit in ceremony guided by Maya tradition, learning directly from the land and from those who carry this wisdom with humility and care.
A cornerstone of our pilgrimage will be a visit to The Pyramids of Ka in San Marcos La Laguna for meditation and prayer. This is the place where my first deep connection with Guatemala, the indigenous ways, and my relationship with dreams was initiated. A portal of remembrance that continues to shape my path.
We will be under the guidance of Tata Walter, alongside other Ajq’ijab’ (Mayan spiritual guides) from the region, receiving teachings, ceremony, and perspective rooted in ancestral lineage and living practice. Together, we will explore prayer, fire ceremony, timekeeping, dream wisdom, and the role of cacao as a bridge between worlds.
This is not a retreat for everyone. This journey is intentionally intimate and is being offered only to:
members of the cacao apprenticeship family
those who are close to the community and have cultivated a deep, respectful relationship with Maya tradition.
If you feel the quiet yes in your body, know that this is a calling to walk gently, listen deeply, and remember together—held by the lake, the ancestors, and the spirit of cacao.
We would be honored to return to this sacred land with you.
Retreat Investment:
Shared rooms: $2,500
Includes accommodation + lodging, daily vegetarian meals, transportation to + from Guatemala City + Lake Atitlan.
