Drawing from their studies along their personal healing journeys, CURACOR offers multi sensory curated experiences that invite us to connect deeper to our own collective hearts.

✨ When done regularly, this workshop/gathering can provide many of the benefits of a yoga practice such as relaxation, deep focus, emotional release and positive outlook and attitude. It can be executed, for example, in a meeting room without needing the logistics of a yoga class.

What to expect…

20 minutes

Cacao has been used in ritual and Ceremony by many ancient cultures in MesoAmerica. They would gather around the essence of Cacao (chocolate in its purest form) as an invitation to dive deeper into the questions of the world or to dissolve any blockages/challenges showing up in their community. Today we reach for chocolate to nourish a craving or in celebration. In this modern approach of connecting with the pure form of chocolate, we allow ourselves to ignite a deeper connection to ourselves and our surroundings. Just like ancient cultures would use the pure form of chocolate in celebratory circles, we invite this approach in a modern way.
Through storytelling and open share, Florencia will guide participants through the background, current uses, personal experience, benefits of cacao, and the culture that surrounds this plant that is so sacred for many ancient civilizations.

Natalia will guide participants through a sound-guided meditation, a practice that has been used for thousands of years to facilitate awareness and mindfulness. Using her voice and a looping device she will create live soundscapes. Sound used as a meditation tool can help participants stay focused for longer periods of time by practicing deep listening. It is also a way to improve memory and mood.

We will guide the group through a variety of team building exercises such as circle sharing, mind mapping, problem solving in small groups, and song circles.
At the end of this session, attendees will be able to:

Florencia Fridman

Ceremony guide + educator, founder of Florecer community

Florencia is a self-empowerment artist working with heart opening therapies involving Ceremonial Grade Cacao, yoga, sound journeys, and breath as instruments for transformation. Florencia is passionate about supporting the voices of indigenous nations, wisdom keepers, and guardians of the sacred lands. She has studied under Mayan elders from Guatemala and indigenous communities of the Ecuadorian Amazon. Florencia has opened for Deepak Chopra and facilitated ceremonies for the corporate world at Spotify. She was a ceremony guide resident at The Assemblage in NYC and has shared Cacao at NYU. She is the co-Founder of Cacao Lab, a Ceremonial Cacao brand aiming to bridge the gap between modern culture and indigenous communities.

Natalia Clavier

NY based singer, songwriter, dj + keeper of medicine songs

Natalia Clavier is an Argentina born, New York based singer, songwriter, DJ, keeper of medicine songs as well as a certified Holistic Health Coach. Studying and practicing Healing Arts she has developed a unique way to share her music to facilitate deep self exploration through her Music Journey offerings. Singing solo (with multiple albums released to date) and also performing live and in studio with the internationally acclaimed electronic/world music duo Thievery Corporation, Clavier has entertained large audiences all over the world. Her lifelong commitment to evolving through music has opened the doors to using her voice as medicine, performing for private events, healing rituals, and conscious dance events.
